What types of photos are shown in the profiles (both as the profile picture and in any picture galleries) – no image? Professional or fun images? Individual or group pictures? What are the statistics on your friends and on your friends’ friends? Who has the most online friends? What is the average? Who has the least?
Write a post to your blog with your responses to the questions I just asked. I’d also like to hear your opinion about how well you think you and your friends are protecting your privacy on sites like Myspace and Facebook. Make some recommendations for other users based off of what you and your friends do. If you don’t think anyone needs your recommendations I’d be interested in hearing why you think so.
Students, remember that this is a blog post, not a standard essay. Use the full range of the technology. If you can post an image or video, do it. If you can link to another page, do it. Tag everything. We will always grade your work over the weekend after it is due. Your blog post must be viewable by midnight on Friday on the assigned date.
